Retraflex

A tube for difficult yarns

One of the most common problems that occurs during the dyeing process is the collapse of the tube, due to an elevated reentry of the thread.
The RETRAFLEX patented design comes from the need to have a tube able to control the thread's reentry in a gradual way.
Collaborating with our most important clients we have been able to verify through test of laboratory and especially through the direct experience in job, the exceptional resistance qualities of this tube.
The particular geometry of the circular elements that forms the structural grate of the tube, allows an easy shrinkage of the thread package that maintains a constant density. As soon as the thread reenters, the tube becomes stiff and opposes more resistance. We attach a file in Word format with the account of one of the resistance tests that we made on the RETRAFLEX for texturisation.

Here below we list other characteristic of the RETRAFLEX that distinguishes them from the other dyeing tubes.

  1. All the RETRAFLEX tubes does not lengthen even if submitted to a high radial shrinkage from the thread package.
  2. All the RETRAFLEX tubes can be used with high wrapping speeds without vibration.
  3. All the RETRAFLEX tubes have an elevated number of supports for the thread. This reduces the effect "witness" on the coils directly adjacent to the tube.
  4. The texturising RETRAFLEX (code 1092CI) has the groove of the transfer tail made with a high grip system, ideal for the thread throwing on the automatic doffing machines.

  6. The texturising RETRAFLEX can be supplied with a non-woven filter covering its surface (code 1092AF).

  8. The twisting RETRAFLEX (height 230 mm and diameter 56mm) can be supplied in two versions: with triangular notch (code 1088CI) and without notch (code 1087CI).
